The Ellroy Damnation (A Crime Fiction Short)

The Ellroy Damnation is a spin-off from The Ellroy Deflection.  It's a short piece with a view to showcase what the novel has to offer.  It has been free on Smashwords, but that is just half the story.  The unabridged, extended version has been uploaded to Amazon and is priced as low as Amazon allow.  The story is set before the Ellroy Deflection and joins a veteran Detective Inspector during his last week on the job as he is assigned a high-profile murder case.
